Asparagus Fern

A longtime favourite for adding texture to spaces indoors and out, asparagus fern is so versatile, you can grow it as a houseplant or outside in hanging baskets and container gardens. The plant’s fine texture looks great no matter where you grow it!

Plant Size

Small: 4 inch standard nursery pot.

Medium: 6 inch standard nursery pot.

Medium HB: 6 inch hanging basket.

Light

Ferns grow on the forest floor so they don’t like a lot of light. Indirect bright light is all she needs. Keep in partial to full shade.

Water

Water when the top 1 inch of soil has dried out. Water thoroughly until the soil is saturated and excess water is fully drained from the drain hole.

Plant Specific Care

Dry soil is a very common way to kill Ferns. Check the soil’s moisture every day. Also loves humidity, consider misting the leaves or placing near a humidifier to keep those lush green leaves. Likes a slightly cooler environment.

Pet-Friendly Plant
