Cordyline Australis also known as Cabbage Tree or Cabbage Palm, is a stunning foliage plant, bearing spiky, variegated leaves with bold cream stripes and margins. A native of New Zealand, it makes an excellent container plant for patios and elsewhere.

If you’re growing it outdoors, choose a spot that gets a minimal amount of shade. If you plan on growing it indoors, a spot near a window or a greenhouse that gets plenty of suns would be ideal. It’s important to note, however, that while Cordyline does like plenty of light, you should avoid setting it in an area that gets direct sunlight; otherwise, the vibrant colouring of the leaves will fade.
